As a spatial practice we are interested in offering clarity when working on complex and multidimensional spatial situations, aiming for intensification and heterogeneity within the built environment. We like to work research-based and project-based in interdisciplinary constellations.
'Softcore', May 2026, Hradec Králové, Czech Republic
A cooperative building with one hundred apartments and a square. Within a shared structural grid, nine distinct volumes are articulated, each referencing the scale of an individual house within the block. The ground floor is freed for diverse public uses, and shared spaces, including roof terraces, extend vertically through each volume. Each apartment has its own balcony. The new square centres around an existing chimney, framed by tree-shaded green islands and a gently sloping open space designed for the wider neighbourhood.
In collaboration with biondifajt (Berlin), Co-struct (Zürich) for structural engineering and muui (Tokyo) for landscape design. Competition support by Luca Sixt and Mateus Panczack.

'Campus Agroscope', December 2025, Posieux, Switzerland
A bee research centre beneath a meadow. The existing concrete retaining wall on the Agroscope Campus is preserved and repurposed: large openings are cut into it to provide access to workshops and storage on the ground floor. The upper floor is a lightweight timber construction offering workspaces for lab and office use.
In collaboration with Atlas Tragwerke (St. Gallen) for structural engineering and Studio Erde (Zürich/Berlin) for landscape design.
'Acts of Love and Demolition', July 2025, Berlin, Germany
A proposal and competition entry for the Friedrich-Ludwig-Jahn-Sportpark in Berlin Prenzlauer Berg. An alternative to the demolition of the GDR stadium, proposing a transformation of the existing structure into a barrier-free, inclusive stadium. Unfortunately, the city decided to demolish the stadium, which prompted us to write the article 'Acts of Love and Demolition', published in Protocol Magazine.
Gustava Grüntuch studied architecture at UdK Berlin and Columbia GSAPP and has worked for Arrhov Frick and Herzog & de Meuron. She is a research and teaching assistant with Prof. Elisabeth Endres at the Institute for Building Climatology and Energy of Architecture at TU Braunschweig, currently teaching the Masters Studio 'Design in Context'.
Felix Schuschan studied architecture at UdK Berlin and worked at the offices of Gustav Düsing and Sam Chermayeff. He is a teaching and research assistant at HCU Hamburg in the Department of Design, Spatial and Building Studies where he is currently pursuing his PhD "Urban Domestic Ecologies", researching the biochemical dimension of urban spaces and anthropogenically shaped ecosystems. Prior to this, he was a lecturer at the Chair of Experimental Design at the UdK Berlin.
